american shrimp cocktail

In Europe we eat the classic shrimp cocktail with a calypso sauce, consisting of mayonnaise, ketchup and cognac. In the US however they use a more spiced up version! It is made within two minutes, probably the easiest recipe on my entire blog. It is actually not even a recipe, you just mix together a few ingredients. However, I feel it is important to show it, as the mixture makes the difference:

Ingredients for 4:

- 20 Jumbo Shrimps

- 4 TBS ketchup

- 5 TS horseradish sauce (the spicy, real one, not the cream or mousse)

- 2 TS Worcester sauce

- 1 TS lime juice

(attention: TS = tea spoon, TBS is table spoon)
