pang na moo

pang na moo

Remember Thailand, the beach, holidays? Then a snack, or for lunch as a starter - these delicious fried breads with minced pork meat on top, slightly sweet and spicy! A real treat, so copy that holiday feeling and start preparing those pang na moos!

Ingredients for 20 pcs:

- 1 baguette

- 1 spring onion

- 300g minced pork meat

- 1 chili

- 2 TBS oyster sauce

- 1 TBS soy sauce

- 1 TBS fish sauce

- 1 TS brown sugar

- 1 egg

- peanut oil / or frying oil

Finely chop the spring onion and the chili. In case you don't like it too spicy, get rid of the seeds before chopping the chili. Mix in a bowl all the ingredients (except the baguette and frying oil of course), and place into the fridge for about an hour.

Cut the baguette in think slices and spread the meat mixture on top. It is best to use a small spoon to spread the meat, like this you can press it down to the bread.

Pour the oil (up to about 3 cm) into a deep and wide pan and start heating the oil at medium heat.

Now fry these little friends, meat side down, until golden. This will take about five minutes. Dry on some kitchen paper and enjoy / dip into sweet chili sauce.
