restaurant tip st. moritz: kulm country club
In the Kulm park in St. Moritz, between the famous Kulm hotel and the "Chesa al Parc" restaurant, you can find a jewel of engiadin hospitality. Casual & stylish, the country club has been renovated by English start architect Lord Norman Foster and is located in the historical Ice Pavillion who was used during the Olympic winter games in 1928 and 1948.
The interior is stylish and cosy at the same time. You can find old bobsleighs, vintage skis and all kinds of other sporty accessories, all combined with avant-garde furniture while being kept in warm wooden colors and a lot of natural light due to the full-height windows.
The food is delicious and sophisticated. Swiss specialties, Italian pasta (I had an amazing creation of paccheri with shrims and lardo di colonnata), soups and sweet delights. The country club is the perfect place for a relaxed dinner in a very special setting, overlooking the ice rink and mountains in a beautiful scenery.
A must try if you spend a few days in St. Moritz!
